" Mi Felicidad"

This is an appreciation post for those beautiful creatures that I've met. Their never ending support gave so much impact to my life and deeply influenced me of who I am today. Some are far in distance but never on my heart. I treasured them for a lifetime.

On my past blog, I stated everything that i like and dislike. Now, let's talk about my friends. For me, they're one of my precious gems. I remembered what my mom said to me " You can have so many friends, but the true one's will stay and accompany you to your up's and down's". This advice was deeply engraved to my mind and heart. For a mean time. let me introduce to you some of my best companies.

Mi amore <3

She is Amor Joyce De Luna, the smartest girl to our group. She is a bubbly person and devoted herself to the Lord. I admired her because of her humility towards everything. Also, I BADLY MISS THIS GIRL.

Dhalenden

She is Dhalen Kate Ebora, the youngest but definitely the tallest to our group. We're classmates since Grade 7 but we're not close back then. On my grade 10 days, me and Dhalen was deeply attached to each other that she even called me "Ate". One thing i like about her is that she is a straight forward person.

Mommy K.

She is Kyle Karla Velez, the oldest one to our group. One of my selfie buddies. Were friends since Grade 7 and all I can say that i've known her for so long. An intellegent and talented girl, that is the two things that I can described about her. We share the same dream and that is being a civil engineer someday. (PS: Excuse my huge forehead)

This three girls made my junior high school life more fun and excting. They are my main squad. Eventhough we share different beliefs and having different personalities, we tend to understand each other. This is my own definition of squad goals.

How can I forget my guy bestfriend? He is John Edsel Banaag. Were classmates since Grade 7. I found him very kind and a caring person. I considered him as my brother. Also, I had this remarkable friend. She is Meredel Baltonado. We are close friends since Grade 7 but because she was intellegent and a talented person. She was accelerated when we are on Grade 9. She is currently studing in Jesus the Exhalted Name also known as JTen. She was crazy but a thoughtful person. Lastly, Karla and I called her "Sisa" because of her incredible craziness. And I MISS HER A LOT.

On my Senior Highschool year, I've met several new faces. I did'nt expect that I found a new family that supports and encouraging me to do my best. Eventhough I sacrifice sleep and even eating because of having a lot of projects,I never regretted that I enrolled on STI because of them. We all have peculiar characteristics but we shared a common interest. And that is wearing a white toga and a  having diploma on our hands. We call our group as "Tropang Kusina" because we love to eat and for us, FOOD IS LIFE.
( Karla, Rosalie, Jhana, Marielle, Pau, Lynette, Martin, Alvin, David, Emman, Alfred, Eli, Rev)

This humans gave me a rollercoaster of emotions. I love them and I already treasured them as my family. I can't wait to experience new things together with them. I will absolutely never forget my years on STI because of this unique individuals. POWER!

I am Anne Clarisse Anselmo, 16 years old and currently reside in Sta. Rosa City province of Laguna. I born on the 4th day of March in the year 2001. My mother is Mrs. Josephine B. Anselmo who was a housewife and my father is Mr. Jesielito M. Anselmo Sr. who was an aircon technician at Abu Dhabi,United Arab Emirates. I had one sibling, he was Jesielito Anselmo Jr. We have a seven years age gap. I was that so called "papa's girl" because I'm very close to my father, so when he decided to go to abroad, it's very hard for me that it gets to the point that I was crying so much. But, as I grew older, I realized that decision was for our own good. I'm a proud member of Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church of Christ) since 2012.
FAM!
Let's talk about my personality, I'm an ambivert person,it means that I'm on the midst of being introvert and being extrovert. I love to vibe and meet new faces but sometimes I enjoy being alone. I need some time to recharge myself. I'm not that good communicator because sometimes I prefer being quite. Less talk, less mistake right? I'm a jolly person when I'm with my friends, barkada and even to my parents. I'm very close to my parents. I can tell them about how good or bad my day is. They're my forever bffs! Yas, MAY POREBER! We are open to each other but I highly respect them. I love to dance. Dancing boost my confidence. I'm a fan of women volleyball. Infact, I'm an avid fan of Ateneo Lady Eagles! My favorite color is nude, black, and maroon.

Two of my all time favorites are ice cream and Leche flan.I love chocolates.  I don't like softdrinks. I prefer drinking a glass of water than sipping some alcoholic beverages.
My favorite cartoon character was Mickey Mouse. I find him cute tho. I don't like girly outfits. I really don't like color pink.I like sweaters. I also find it really cool and chic. I love buying new clothes and match some outfits. I prefer sneakers and rubber shoes than heels. I started loving make up. One of my favorite series was Harry Potter especially the "Goblet of Fire" were Robert Pattinson was a cameo. He was one of my childhood crush. Also, because after watching it, I started to love some movies with magic and extraordinary abilities. I love beaches. I feel refresh and renew whenever I go to those coast. Last few months, I started to like watching vlogs on youtube. I was inspired by my co-filipina named Bella. (Your BellaMazing). I had a girl crush in Dua Lipa who was a well known singer and model. Also, I love how Nadine Lustre slays every clothes she wears. Last but not definitely the least, I like to play badminton. TABULA RASA ( A clash between nurture and nature )

JOHN LOCKE (1632-1704)

What comes to  your  mind  when  you  hear  the  word “ Tabula Rasa”? Did you agree that humans doesn’t have knowledge since they was born? According to the dictionary, tabula rasa states that the mind in its hypothetical primary blank or empty state before receiving outside impressions. This philosopher stands firmly to his belief that human’s mind has no certain knowledge when they come out to this world. Based on him,“ No man’s knowledge can go beyond his experience”. A popular quotation that talks about how a man can gain knowledge from his proficiency. It was a well attended saying by a 17th century Enlightenment thinker and famous empiricist of  his time. He was no other  than John Locke.
An English philosopher, physicist and a famous British empiricist named John Locke was born on August 29, 1632 at Wrington Somerset, England. He was widely known as one of  the most significant Enlightenment thinker of his time. Back then, his father  named also John  served as a lawyer and a military man during English civil war and his mother named Agnes Keene who is a housewife. His parents were both Puritans and he was raise that way. Also, his father’s allegiance to the English government gave him an opportunity to have an education. In 1647, he enrolled at Westminster School in London, where Locke earned the distinct honor of being named a King’s Scholar, a priviledge that went to only select number of boys and paved the way for Locke to attend Christ Church, Oxford in 1652. Long afflicted with delicate health, Locke died on October 28, 1704, in Essex, where he’d reside over the last decade of his life.
Locke’s works is connected to metaphysics which is the study of existence and epistemology which is the study of knowledge. He followed the ways and traditions of Francis Bacon and he had a contribution to the social contact theory. On the other hand, in his “Essay Concerning Human Understanding”  he advanced a theory as a blank page with knowledge and identity arised only from a certain experience. This theory is called Tabula rasa that refers to the epistemological idea that humans are born without any built in mental content and knowledge came from a definite events.
Tabula rasa is a Latin phrase often rendered as “blank slate”. He believed that a newborn man’s brain is like a “slates” which was used as a paper at his time, and nothing has yet been written on it. This theory favored the “nurture” side of the “nature versus nurture” debate when it comes to personality and emotional behavior. But according to my research, an infant’s brain had a transitional groundwork called “analysis by synthesis” which means the brain predicts motor movements that will required to create the sound of a speech. Also, based on what I have read, there are two kinds of knowledge; natural knowledge and experiential knowledge. The natural knowledge are acquired by a human since he was born. The mind who is responsible how we acts and reacts. However, experiential knowledge are things that we are about to learn. This knowledge came from our experience and it is not acquired by a person since he was born.
Therefore, John Locke’s tabula rasa theory states that the information of a man’s encephalon is complete at birth but receptive like a blank slate which knowledge was imprinted from experience. Also, people acquired knowledge from the objects that they can perceived. They started in simple ideas and then combined them into more coplex ones. In my own perception, humans are both influenced by the nature and nurture. We obtain some knowledge naturally and on the other hand, we can gather it by experience and to the people that sorrounds us. Tabula rasa is only a theory, which means it has not been proven yet and there’s no scientific basis on it. It’s up to us if we believe it or not.
